There are nine types of Intelligences as given by Prof. Howard Gardner in his book Frames of Mind published in the year 1983. There have been various research papers published based on the Multiple Intelligence theory. The MI theory proposes that every child is unique and possesses different proportions of each of these Intelligence types. For example, as child may be a nature lover, a very good sports person at the same time it is possible that he has interest in music as well. In the Educational institutes only two intelligence types are tested that is Logical Mathematical and Linguistic intelligence. The parents are still unaware of this fact and are pushing their children to compete for a high score in these two intelligence types only.
We at Edubuk have developed a Test (MIIT Screening) Multiple Intelligence, Interest and Talent to find out what each child is genius at.
